But we don't think The Church should have a monopoly on it.
We're not ready to launch just yet, but you can still confess below. On launch, we'll start with the most interesting stories we receive in the meantime.If you have something you want to get off your chest, this is the place. Instead of your confession being heard by a priest, it will be heard by a larger group: everyone else here. You need to choose a name to include with your confession; please do not use your real name. Use any "handle" you wish, but something is required. You may include your e-mail address if you wish; it's not required and will not be published. Read the full terms and conditions before you submit your confession.
What's the point of this? IHACTM is a production of This is True®, which explores the human condition via true stories. We're interested in your story, and a "good" confession is a story, not just an "I did this" statement. What did you do? Why did you do it? Who did you hurt? When was it. Where? (if it matters). And how do you feel about it now? The hard part: keep it to 100-200 words maximum!

By submitting a confession to this site, you agree that:
- You are granting us all rights to publish or produce it royalty free -- on this site and/or anywhere else we choose to, and/or license others to publish or produce it in any medium.
- You understand we will take reasonable steps to keep you anonymous, but the best anonymity is to follow our advice and not use your real name on your submission, and to not provide any information in your confession that will specifically identify you. Your "public name" will be used to "sign" your confession (will be published).
- You warrant (guarantee) that your confession is true, and that it is your own composition which does not infringe on any rights, including copyright, of any other person, and does not defame any other person. Your confession should be about you!
- You understand that if you confess to a crime, we are obliged to turn over server-logged information to law enforcement agencies should they lawfully request them.
- We are not required to publish any submission we don't wish to, for any reason whatever, and we may, at our sole discretion, choose to delete any submission at any time for any reason.
